2015, you can't see them on street view, but the relay cases still exist under this bridge:

Also, the siding to nowhere!:

Another crossing that been closed 'temporally' since 2005, and the signals are still here! (It even has E-Bells!)

What a waste of equipment. But at least it's not in the trash!

Anyway, let's not "derail" this topic any further! :LOL4: (I'm sorry).

This teardrop bell (I believe might be in Missouri?) appears to be the only active protection device at this crossing. Or at least, it gets the whole post to itself. (sorry it's sideways):

I also remember when The Bellarine Railway had a bell only crossing at Queenscliff Rd many years ago. I asked a worker why that was the case and he told me it was because they couldn't afford a full setup at the time!

GSV shows this crossing with lights, signage, and a Westinghouse Hybrid bell in 2007...

Since 2013, this crossing at Princess Street on The Bellarine Railway has had boom barriers, LED lights, and Safetran type 3 E-Bells installed!

The crossing in 2007.

EDIT: D'oh! it's the crossing image from above. Didn't realize that.
