An old sign, AFAIK this is one of the oldest intersections with Mellor heads, although it claims these are 50 years old (yet Mellor heads didn't start popping up until the 1970's.)

Kind of odd seeing a building constructed entirely out of non-painted bricks. (Yes, before you ask me that is how construction works, its just odd not to see cladding or other material over it.

Nor those sales posted in those windows.

In fact, looking at images in the aftermath, its quite ironic that the bricks themselves aren't covered in soot or whatnot, or collapsed.
