Not sure if this is a flat safetran bell.

The speed of the bell shouldn't really have an impact like that, though.NathanFromEngland wrote:It's probably the rate of speed of the bell.ZachL wrote:Wow, wonder how they both sound like that.freebrickproductions wrote:Here's a pair of very flat Safetran bells:

Re: Some flat sounding bells
A flat Hybrid bell can be seen at 1:59 in this video, and another can be heard at 4:27 (though I don't know if it's the same bell):
They/Them for me, please.

Not a flat sounding bell, but an unusual Japanese railroad crossing speaker.

Re: Some flat sounding bells
One of the bells at the second crossing in this video sounds pretty rough (you can hear it the best starting at about 5:15 in the video). The first crossing also features an alarm that's having issues.
They/Them for me, please.

Re: Some flat sounding bells
At least one of the bells at 8:22 in this video sounds a bit flat (another view of the crossing can be seen later in the video, starting at about 9:34, along with a good close-up view at 12:55):
They/Them for me, please.

The Safetran(?) mechanical bell heard towards the beginning of this video sounds rather flat:
They/Them for me, please.

Speaking of Safetran bells, here's a Safetran Hybrid bell which has quite a bit of trouble ringing:
They/Them for me, please.
