Found another active crossing from the recent GSV update...

And one block over for a different train:

Same track, but down a ways. Don't see the train, but the gates are down, and the "NO RIGHT TURN" sign is activated on the traffic signal. :TUP2:

I think on your example it is more for sight reasons. The signal with the gate could be somewhat blocked by the trees and power poles, so they decided to put a mast and set of lights on the other side. If that truly was the reason, not sure why they just didn't put in a cantilever instead.

I'll have to get those crossings for the site some time. It only gets 1 train aday.
The main line is in Chapel Hill.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Ben Franklin
People who need a foot up their Ass affect the lives of many. There is still no cure for someone who needs a foot up their Ass, except a foot up their Ass
I speak my mind, if you don't like that oh well. I'll have you fill out a hurt feelings report and submit that to my office.

Interesting that there are stop signs on both sides of that crossing. With one train a day and crossing signals, seems like a bit of a waste.
