Lets them get both the sidewalk and road with one gate. Tends to happen down here in the south a lot, I've noticed.

This bank in Clinchfield has an old signal on display outside, also, check out the logo of the bank next to the signal.

I wonder if it flashes 24/7, of just when the bank is open?

I was looking around at the crossings in Daytona, FL as my family is thinking of going down there this summer, and I found this crossing just about to deactivate:

This crossing use to have both crossbucks on the same side of the road! At first I though that the road use to be a one-way road but it turns out that wasn't the case!

Some shortlines will do that. The HMCR only uses gate-less signals.
