I'm not even sure if that's FRA or even MUTCD-legal. :Tongue1:
Looks like it might not be, not taking the fact that the crossbucks are backwards into account.

These crossbucks have smaller angels than 90 degrees, I wonder if that was intentional?

There use to be a pair of normal 90 degree buckeye crossbucks here.

You're in my old stomping grounds! I've always loved Orrville's & Wooster's stuff. I have some photos of some of what you've featured; I'll have to get them posted!

In fact, here's a link to the two Wooster crossings you featured:

This link will lead you to, among other things, the less-than-90 degree crossbucks linked above:

I have photos of the Lex-C signals above, but I haven't Flickr-ed them yet.

In my opinion... it's better because a driver is going to pay more attention to the stop/yield sign (and maybe actually obey it). When it is lower down on the pole, plus under another sign, it's kind of lost in the mix.

It is common in Oregon for signals at pedestrian crossings to have that setup, there are several crossings on the site with signals like that in Oregon. :TUP2:

Are you talking about the gate and the power lines? It appears to be only an illusion that the gate is behind them.
