A gate lands on a truck here, and promptly gets twisted. Then the crossing starts tail-ring malfunctioning multiple times until engineers fix the problem.
Though not sure why that is enough to trigger a malfunction like that, how exactly?

A crossing gate lands on this oblivious driver's car, who also happens to be recording.
Yes, you can't see the gate drop onto his car, but the bump you hear is the sound of the gate hitting his truck.

Double-edged sword there. The truck driver could have started reversing immediately when he realized that the car went around him, and he probably would have had enough time to be behind the gate.

Careless driver decides to just drive on through the gate as soon as the train passed, though thankfully no serious damage considering the car is a small sedan.
