LOL... too funny! :TUP1:

He's already struck this one...

Before: https://www.google.com/maps/@39.8071811 ... 6656?hl=en
After: https://www.google.com/maps/@39.8071928 ... 6656?hl=en

And, he is making plans for these as well:
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.7829287 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.8027242 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.8038511 ... 6656?hl=en

We are talking quite a few years down the road of course... as they obviously have to close the streets for quite some time. The first took almost 2 years to complete.

Found this CSX worker hard at work in South Tampa:
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.8809656 ... 312!8i6656
:LOL2:

Kind of an odd looking signal with the lights mounted off to the right a bit...
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.906111, ... 312!8i6656

Look out for the cars!
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.9187478 ... 312!8i6656

Crossbuck disappeared between 2015 and 2016:

https://www.google.com/maps/@27.9485046 ... 312!8i6656

Rather odd looking signal with a pretty long gate:
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.973287, ... 312!8i6656
The other signal had it's own issues in 2011, but was fixed by 2013:
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.9732379 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.9732474 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.9732746 ... 312!8i6656

Interesting setup here:
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.9602238 ... 312!8i6656

One gate really long, the other short (I guess due to the power lines)

Looks like the line is out of service. Also, the 12x24 inch signal used to have a hexagonal gate arm!
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.9732379 ... 312!8i6656

Nice finds with the 8 inch lights at a few of them!

Also, here's a RACO 12 inch light!
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.9417994 ... 312!8i6656

And a pair of classic SAL cantilevers nearby as well! Though these would've originally had WRRS gate mechanisms:
https://www.google.com/maps/@27.9432393 ... 312!8i6656

Don't think I've ever seen a Safetran Type 2/NEG e-bell painted silver before:

They/Them for me, please.

I'd say out of service yes, but CSX did replace that gate in 2013.

I should possibly go out to this crossing sometime. It'd have to be on a weekend though since it's in an industrial park that is heavily-packed weekdays and a ghost on weekends. :Tongue1:
Crossing pictures from Plant City, FL are finally here! viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2538

I think that is the first time that I've seen street signs on a crossing signal!

You should get the other crossings in the Tampa area with 8 inch lights as well. Maybe even the street-running ones.
