That's been posted here several times in the past, and also on Dan's WigWag Site too.
He lives in the same county as me! As much as I'd love to ask him about that display or get pictures/a tour, I think that'd be too much.

Google also caught them in action twice.

By the way, I just calculated the distance from my house to his, and it's a 30-minute drive, just to go to a different place in the same county!

That's how long it takes here in Madison County, AL depending on where you're going.

As much as I would love to get a picture of that display, I won't do so unless I have permission from the owner to do so (and I'm not gonna go out of my way to find out how to contact him for permission either), as that is his house and I don't want to take pictures of someone's property and post it online without their consent. Maybe I will drive past it to see it for myself in the future because it definitely is spectacular and would probably be as close as I could ever even get to a real wigwag or Griswold signal ever in my life.

What in the world?
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1151416 ... 312!8i6656
Old signal was like that as well:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1151366 ... 312!8i6656
Active crossings:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1149063 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.115009, ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1247827 ... 312!8i6656
Also, this is just weird:
First off, here's a 1990s CSX install:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1474308 ... 312!8i6656
The bell at the time was a General Signals e-bell:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1474544 ... 312!8i6656
Then CN takes over the crossing:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1475214 ... 312!8i6656
And then later replaces the General Signals e-bell with a WCH mechanical bell?
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1474662 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1474592 ... 312!8i6656
I ain't complainin', but it's just weird...
Same thing happened further up the line.
2011, under CSX with a General Signals e-bell:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1537821 ... 312!8i6656
2016, line is being maintained by CN and now there's a WCH mechanical bell:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1537831 ... 312!8i6656
Also, this UP crossing just up the street has a classic cantilever signal at it!
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1539286 ... 312!8i6656
Also, the new signal on the left lacked backgrounds on the rear lights in 2013:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1539534 ... 312!8i6656
Another active crossing:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1741331 ... 312!8i6656
Classic signals:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1792203 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.246665, ... 312!8i6656
Seems CN has been preferring to install new WCH mechanical bells lately instead of e-bells, at least in the Memphis, TN area:
2014:

2016:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0925651 ... 312!8i6656
May 2016:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1184547 ... 312!8i6656
October 2016:

I'm so confused yet not confused at the same time!

If that makes any sense...
----------------
Active crossing in Victoria, Araucania (Chile).

----------------
This signal is leaning a lot.
https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.880276 ... 6656?hl=en
----------------
Here is an interesting setup, it is kind of like a combination of a railroad crossing and a street running.
https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.868133 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.867894 ... 6656?hl=en

https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.867358 ... 6656?hl=en
----------------
Daniel Andrews must have been on holiday to Uruguay!
https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.861563 ... 6656?hl=en
I don't think that some of the locals like that.
https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.857915 ... 6656?hl=en
----------------
I wonder what was going on here?
https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.851034 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@-34.850809 ... 6656?hl=en
Edit:
Huh that is odd, almost makes the lights look vintage!

I wanna say in regards to this signal, it could be possible that the maintainer simply assumed that it was best to mock the original setup as close as possible with the newer equipment.
