Found a bunch of old discarded wayside signals lying around at the old Wodonga station in Victoria.

Metro, why do you keep removing Mechanical bells?!

Is that just a signal graveyard there? Or was there once a rail line that'd seem like it'd been gone for decades?TrickyMario7654 wrote:Found a bunch of old discarded wayside signals lying around at the old Wodonga station in Victoria.

Wow, it appears that Google Streetview caught a thunderstorm! That is something that you don't see very often!

Just find an interstate in Florida, and you'll be able to find one of those easily!ToledoRailfan wrote:Wow, it appears that Google Streetview caught a thunderstorm! That is something that you don't see very often!

The Melbourne-Sydney line ran through Wodonga until the built a rail bypass & a new station in the outskirts of the town in 2010.ZachL wrote:Is that just a signal graveyard there? Re: Google Street View
I wonder what these people are up to? They didn't even seem to notice the streetview car.

There is also what appears to be a couple having a photo shot, I also don't think that station is abandon either.

Look all over the internet. Wedding photoshoots are common along railroad lines.ToledoRailfan wrote:There is also what appears to be a couple having a photo shot, I also don't think that station is abandon either.

True, I was also kind of pointing out the station at the same time. I think it is still in use because it is shown on Google maps and there is a Uruguayan coat of arms that is in relatively good condition at the entrance of the station.ZachL wrote:Look all over the internet. Sometimes materials sustain sun damage easier than others, thus allowing fading prevention. The heavy graffiti along the walls could suggest otherwise about it still being open.ToledoRailfan wrote:True, I was also kind of pointing out the station at the same time.
