Maybe I will drive past it to see it for myself in the future because it definitely is spectacular and would probably be as close as I could ever even get to a real wigwag or Griswold signal ever in my life.
I remember watching this guy's video's long before I moved here. I may have to do a "drive by" as well. I think at one time he had the Griswold's wired up to a motion detector, so that could by why Google got a few active shots.
He's had videos too? That I didn't know about!
I didn't know that either! On Youtube?

Either way, I just want to drive by and see it for myself. :Tongue1:

Sorry... it wasn't a video, (been awhile since I saw it last). It was an extensive write up about the owner (with photos) on Dan's Wig Wag site: http://www.trainweb.org/dansrailpix/WIG ... awford.htm

It isn't everyday that you see bell-less gated crossings, those pinnacles are pretty cool!

There is also a pile of miscellaneous junk right next to the crossing! I actually thought that there was a Wigwag mechanism in there at first glance!

Interesting mix of newer gate mechs and older masts there...

Kind of interesting how there is a "tracks" sign under the advance warning sign, a bit like California but with a regular "tracks" sign.

Here it is with different signs and no crossing ID tags back in 2013.

Here is are two pretty cool crossings, they vaguely looks familiar so I wonder if this has been talked about on the forum before.

I wonder why this gate was removed, maybe someone stole it and it just wasn't replaced for the time that street came there in 2013.

This road is a one-way road but there is this signal that has had its lights removed! Kind of odd, might be from when this road was a two-way road.

I wonder if the reason that they installed full signals instead of just gates for the sidewalks is because the sidewalks are kind of far from the crossing. But why did the previous setup setup just had mast signals for the sidewalks without gates?
