I've posted those here on numerous occasions! From what I've heard they hadn't worked for years before they were uninstalled, when there was a train the crossing would be flagged.

Those almost look like they could have had cantilever arms on them at one point, especially the first one...

Here is a way to solve the problem of not having enough room for the second signal on one side of the crossing!
