Not sure how much use that yard gets anymore. In the 2016 imagery, the yard is pretty much completely empty and starting to get overgrown. In prior imagery, the yard is very full and quite obviously used. And yes, it does appear that the remains of that one signal were once a signal that protected the crossing.
