I wasn't even aware that CSX installed 8" lights!
It appears to have been done by them very, very early on. Not many installs exist anymore with the original 8 inch lights, and probably only a few of those even retain all of their original equipment.ZachL wrote:I wasn't even aware that CSX installed 8" lights!
None of those are "classic vintage signals", IMO. In fact, they all appear to be less than 10 to 20 years old.
What is today's date?!freebrickproductions wrote:None of those are "classic vintage signals", IMO. In fact, they all appear to be less than 10 to 20 years old.
Well that joke clearly went over my head.ToledoRailfan wrote:What is today's date?!freebrickproductions wrote:None of those are "classic vintage signals", IMO. In fact, they all appear to be less than 10 to 20 years old.

Because that's a one-way stretch of road right there.ToledoRailfan wrote:Wait, why are the "DO NOT ENTER" signs on the other side of the crossing!?![]()

I know it is. I was confused as to why they didn't put the "DO NOT ENTER" signs in front of the crossing instead of behind the crossing because people have to turn around and cross over the crossing again once they see the "DO NOT ENTER" signs, it would make much more sense to have them on the other side of the crossing so you wouldn't need to crossing over it to find out that the road is a one-way road.ZachL wrote:Because that's a one-way stretch of road right there.ToledoRailfan wrote:Wait, why are the "DO NOT ENTER" signs on the other side of the crossing!?![]()

Edit: It is because of the odd placement of the "DO NOT ENTER" signs.
