I keep messing up while editing this post!!!
Active crossing in Normans Bay, Sussex
https://www.google.com/maps/@50.827099, ... !1e1?hl=en
The crossing used to be gated in which the gates were operated by a signalman from his hut, from 11PM to 7AM the gates were locked by the signalman so he could get rest. One of the gates that were locked by the signalman is here.

No train, but looks to either be a hi-railer or one of those wildfire patrol units.

Interesting variation with the font on those SORS signs, plus the newer signs are usually more of a rectangular shape not square like these. Obviously I prefer the inverted signs but these are not too bad.

Looks to be a weed sprayer truck.

I wonder why there is a crossbuck here, there is no "DO NO ENTER" sign.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@28.53226 ... 312!8i6656
It also has the incorrect number of tracks!
Nevertheless, it will be a pain when i send these photos off, the FRA says that this crossing sees 10 trains a day! That isn't right!

When was the report from? Also, there is technically still a third track in the pavement there, but it hasn't seen use in a while.
