Here are a few more Italian US&S Teardrops.

This one also has a WABCO bell:

Funny...we were just discussing US&S signals in Italy on Elvas Tower a couple months ago. This is what forum user "FS.E652 091" mentioned about them--
"...for the FS Crossing, yes, on Sicily we have some places with this models of Crossing, we call it " San Andreas Cross " :D..."

Not sure if it's just a colloquial Sicilian term or if it's systemwide, but if you are researching them the term "San Andreas Cross" may refer to a US&S / WABCO crossing signal.

...and more foreign US&S Teardrops, these ones from a land down under! The Puffing Billy Railway--a 30-inch-gauge line running between Belgrave and Gembrook in Victoria--has 14 active crossings, all equipped with vintage US&S gear.

Two crossings of note--
Old Monbulk Road, outside the Belgrave terminus.
The rather complex Packenham Road / McBride Street crossing, with three sets of flashers on a single mast!

The Puffing Billy signaling department also allegedly has a pair of MRSCO wigwags under restoration, as per Dan's Wigwag Site

EDIT: Some videos I've seen of Lakeside have the audio of an MRSCO wigwag in action, protecting the footpath.

Moss landing, Ca on a rarely used spur. Although the link is from 2007, it should still be there considering the lack of maintenace on the branch.

It's more than likely out of service. The grade is almost non-existent and even has paint running through it: https://www.google.com/maps/@36.801943, ... DIN1gA!2e0

No, it's in service, just very rarely used. The last train that I know of ran on these tracks a year ago. Of course, I'm not exactly sure, since coverage of traffic on this branch almosts doesn't exist.

Take another look: https://www.google.com/maps/@36.802042, ... 7u_DPA!2e0

How on earth can a train even get through that without derailing?!?!

The line was probably rail banked. Basically, it was taken out of service but left in place incase someone along the line wants to ship by rail.
