Good train horns.

Can't have signals without railroads, so talk about your favorite locomotives, railroads and any other (non signal) railroad related stuff.

On a railroad that makes sure its locomotives can wake the dead at any trackside cemetaries, WSOR 4008's Leslie RS3LR stands out:

More of my favorite horns from my local regional RR:

3801, 4053, 4078- R/S3LR:

4003, 4006, 4009- K5LA (IMO the best out of many of these horns on the railroad):

3806- Absolutely earsplitting all-bells-forward K3LA:

4002- P5:

4007- No idea what this is, but it sure sounds nice. It looks like a Leslie, but sounds more like a less harsh version of a K3LA:

4025- K3HA:

4054- RS5T:

10C (since renumbered to 101 but still has the same horn)- Nathan M3:

More favorites of mine:

Escanaba and Lake Superior Railroad #400 has one of the best K5LAs I've ever heard:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qIgDNcvfhc

ELS 501 has a cool horn that looks and sounds to me like a Nathan P5, but people have told me RS5T or Nathan M3 (which I know it can't be because when you look at the horn, it has five tubes):

Soo Line 4512 in ex-Milwaukee Road "Bandit" paint may look somewhat worse for wear, but it has a nice sounding horn that I've been told is a Prime 920/RS hybrid:

CP 4522 also has a sweet sounding R/S3LR or its Prime equivalent:

Mid-Continent Railway Museum's ALCo S1 has a Nathan M3:
