Regent Road, Bootle, England.

AFAIK, i believe this crossing has been closed for at least a decade via looking at Google Earth views. Since closure the crossing has fell into decay but still works.

Here is a picture of the crossing from what i assume is the 1980's.

It has to be receiving maintenance somehow, because those are LED lights.

The signals still remain but no longer work and the lights and gate arms were removed.
Is there a source?? Streetview ain't showin it
This article was shared on the Railway Crossings Facebook group, and is about the crossing signals being deactivated. One of the pictures at the top of the article shows the signals now:

Well, as of 2019 Street view, these signals are still here. However, the pedestrian US&S Model 95 Gate Mechanism no longer has it's counterweight arms.

There's also this one in Tavares, FL: https://www.google.com/maps/@28.8030794 ... 56!6m1!1e1

Technically, the crossing is somewhat used as it leads to an orange grove. However, these tracks are not busy enough to warrant lights and gates IMO.

And sort of going in the opposite direction, you can't forget about this beauty of a crossing that was built before the road, then the road never finished:

The one in Tavares, FL has finally gotten a road built over it as of 2019:

Not sure if this one counts, but I found one for a never completed footpath/cycleway in Germany.

The Cardinia Road level crossing in Pakenham was replaced with an overpass last month, but the signals for the old crossing have remained in operation and still activate for trains.

Here's a video of the now-closed crossing:

I'm not too sure if they're still here as of now, but they'll likely be removed soon if they haven't already.
