Here's three from around Cleveland
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Independe ... 6,,0,-1.33
Notice the old gateless signal in background that protects the diamond

second

and finnaly

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Strongsvi ... 08,,0,2.05

I'm not 100% sure but there was an image somewhere of the crossing that showed the Ped gate had been removed.

Independence Rd. in Cleveland looks like a very interesting place to railfan, with all the A-gates and multiple diamonds with tracks going every which way!

(Slightly off-topic) Near one of those wishbone gates, there appears to be a gateless crossing which has a "Stop on Red Signal" placard AND something that looks suspiciously like a US&S 0333...

Yeah, conraildash8 had mentioned that it appears to be positioned to warn of opposing train traffic crossing the diamond. Unlikely, but it sure looks like it was set up that way!

That's not an A-Gate. It's just StreetView messing up the panorama.

Those are some long pedestrian gates at that crossing. A new one for me...
