Yeah you filmed that on your "bonanza" in 2007 on the Leesburg Sub for Waunakee if I remember correctly.

Based on this shot below... I'm thinking the upper bracket broke and the sign somehow rotated itself upside down. Notice how much lower it is now than on the 2nd link you included?

My only guess... and it is just a guess... is that the road leading to / from the school used to end there. It appears they closed that entrance and moved it down to the other end of the football field / track at some point. Kind of crazy that the cantilever is still there.

I'm gonna take a guess and say that the cantilever protects Trotter Street because there aren't any sidelights facing it..
