Active crossing in Detroit.
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.3797665 ... 1664?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.3798064 ... 1664?hl=en
-----------------------
This is the first time I've seen a tracks sign on the cantilever arm! Looks like it wouldn't be easy to see if it was on the mast.
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.4217333 ... 6656?hl=en
-----------------------
I wonder why they have two different posts for the tracks sign and the crossbuck!
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.4214988 ... 6656?hl=en

The crossbuck looks a bit odd as well.
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.4213941 ... 6656?hl=en

Back in 2009 the other crossbuck was still at the crossing. It had an advance warning sign bellow it interestingly enough. It is also an odd crossbuck.

Nice find there. That's pretty rare to come across a post-2000s CSX install without gates like that.

The only other one I'm aware of is on my end of the state in Stevenson, and while CSX replaced all of the equipment at that crossing (including the relay case), it's a direct replacement for the previous gateless set-up. Same equipment as well, minus the side lights.

That one in Flomaton appears to be that way due to the fact that it's in a yard.

Kind of an unusual sign there. I assume that speed breaker means speed bump.

Down here... in some neighborhoods with speed bumps in them... they call it "traffic calming areas".
