The double crossbucks on this crossing remind me of the crossings you see in New Jersey.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.5701032 ... 312!8i6656

This crossing has a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell mounted on a signal for a side road.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.5898053 ... 312!8i6656

This crossing used to have catseye three tracks signs!

https://www.google.com/maps/@30.6116745 ... 328!8i1664
They're gone now. :Awww:

This sign doesn't make sense.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.6116557 ... 312!8i6656
This crossing has had its gates damaged!

That signal didn't have a crossbuck back in 2007.

There was another one of those signs.

Active crossing in Jacksonville, Florida.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.2776753 ... 312!8i6656
This extension isn't needed.

Incorrectly installed signals.

https://www.google.com/maps/@30.2864683 ... 312!8i6656
Back in 2011, the crossing still contained its Safetran 12x24 inch lights and WCH 12x20 inch lights, the pedestrian signals bases were rather rusty though!

https://www.google.com/maps/@30.2864499 ... 312!8i6656
In May 2014, GSV captured some track work going on there! The lights remained the same, but were replaced with WCH Hayes 12x24 inch lights and WCH 12x20 inch lights. Whats with that yellow van? I've seen one of those in David's videos,

Another crossing with incorrectly installed signals.

Active crossing.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3116945 ... 312!8i6656
Active drawbridge that has the FEC run through it.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3153776 ... 312!8i6656
Trespassers!

More incorrectly installed signals.

Who takes a Norfolk Southern locomotive to a CSX yard in Florida?
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3373188 ... 312!8i6656
Looks as if GSV got some paparazzi.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3372066 ... 312!8i6656
Active crossing, yes this is the same location.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3378522 ... 312!8i6656
This railroad diamond has gates at it!
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3586658 ... 312!8i6656
Active crossing, the cantilever is rather long.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3586426 ... 312!8i6656
Never seen this company before.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3579168 ... 312!8i6656
Some nice cantilevers, i think this is RACO. For some reason, the other cantilever is missing its rear lights.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3579961 ... 312!8i6656
GSV captured some work trains here. The diamond there also includes gates!
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3579821 ... 312!8i6656
Wrong DOT tag.
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.370921, ... 312!8i6656
This crossings gate has been knocked over!

Active crossing.

Looks like part of a tree fell here!
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3716236 ... 312!8i6656
A rather strange crossing installation.

The pedestrian signals actually have/had Modern Industries 12x20s in all of those links.

It's a Norfolk Southern crossing, so the DOT tag is correct. It's just an older one because NS hadn't replaced most of their DOT tags in 2014 when street view came through there.

That is odd. Maybe it is because the signal is kind of far from the road and the telephone pole might block the view of the signal from some angles.

Maybe the cantilevers were added later?

I followed the track that that locomotive was on and I came across this crossing with a Norfolk Southern ID tag. Their line just goes by the CSX yard.

They probably made it that long so the lights can be over the right hand side of the road.

That is pretty unusual. Nice find!

Active drawbridge that has the FEC run through it.
Railroad drawbridges typically stay in the up position unless a train is going through.

Probably the front lights on the gate masts, which do look very tacky, IMHO.
