Looks like a broken light that indicates to the driver that the crossing is active.

That is pretty odd.

I was having a nose at a tramway in Amsterdam.

This crossing for some reason has bases installed at them! maybe this used to be a signalized crossing?

This crossing is rather huge. Why are there crossbucks before the actual crossing?
https://www.google.com/maps/@52.3278825 ... 6656?hl=en

This signal is leaning at a angle!
https://www.google.com/maps/@52.334269, ... 6656?hl=en
Its fixed (As of October 2016)
https://www.google.com/maps/@52.3342792 ... 6656?hl=en

This crossing has lights and bells, but no gates!

How in the hell would that left ped crossing work with a gate!? It looks like it would lower in the path of a incoming tram!
