Looks like the crossing might have activated while the driver was crossing. That short traffic signal at the crossing is pretty interesting.NathanFromEngland wrote: Active crossing (Impatient GSV driver)

No, one of the signals were a Griswold/Safetran EB signal.ZachL wrote:??????NathanFromEngland wrote:Spot the difference, which signal does not belong?

Its just a quad gate crossing due to it being in a quiet zone

Damn Norfolk Southern! Back at it again with the long bases!

GS Type 3?

This crossing looks to be getting grade separated.

US&S/WABCO? Cantilever?

Kalamazoo kinda does have a lot of gated signals.
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.2809472 ... 6656?hl=en
I guess this crossing doesn't need a mechanical bell because of the crossing next to it. Unless both signals activate independently.
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.2807676 ... 6656?hl=en
Old cantilevers.

Even more old cantilevers.

Why replace what is broken? The other side probably had an EM signal at one point that was knocked over and the other two were added to be up to quiet zone standards.NathanFromEngland wrote:No, one of the signals were a Griswold/Safetran EB signal.ZachL wrote:??????NathanFromEngland wrote:Spot the difference, which signal does not belong?

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
Back when those signals were installed it wasn't. It's also still it's own railroad company, but doesn't have any locomotives, IIRC.ZachL wrote:Isn't Conrail a subsidiary to NS though?freebrickproductions wrote:That's actually Conrail's doing.NathanFromEngland wrote:Damn Norfolk Southern!
