First off, it's always nice to see a Federal Signal Thunderbolt still in service, they're my favorite.
The flag on the UP engine is backwards! I've never seen a UP train in person because i live in western washington (BNSF/Safetran-ville)
It seems like the Google Street View Crew was railfanning the way the same coal train showed up in every shot

That's actually what appears to be a Griswold signal, however the quality of the camera makes it look like it's a strange setup.

Maybe it was a Griswold/RACO/Safetran that got whacked by a truck so they had to replace the cantilever arm. Here's another look at it:

Those tracks are pretty active, The Metra MD-W and MD-N lines to and from Chicago Union Station go through there, as well as all the Amtrak Hiawathas and Empire Builders.

Nice, that's one of two Metra F40PH-3s numbered in the 200s (the others are in the 100s, and the rest of the 200s are F40PHM-2s with the "Winnebago" cabs. Somewhat rare to see those on a Milwaukee District line, which tend to be the domain of the MP36PH-3S fleet.
