Found an old cab view video of the line in 1992. I'm wondering if the signals are still there?

Sadly I can report that the Victoria St crossing at Temora has been upgraded with completely new signals. The teardrop bell is gone and the crossing now has two WCH e-bells

Found a video showing the crossing, you can hear the teardrop bell ringing with the WCH m-bell on the other side of the crossing.

Found a video shot near the crossing in 2015. The Teardrop looks to still be there, but it sounds really sick.

I've seen that crossing before, my theory is that the dust killed the WCH bells. I just wonder where they got the teardrop bells from, maybe over in WA they actually had the sense to save some instead of scrapping them all.

Here is a nice sounding teardrop bell on the north coast of NSW. It's at Rappville, which is on the line from Newcastle to Brisbane (known as the north coast line).



The video is from December 2009 and the crossing is not on streetview, so I have no idea if it's still there.

That reminds me, there's another crossing with a Teardrop bell on the Melbourne-Sydney line that's not on GSV. It's at a location called Balmattum. Here's a 2008 image of the crossing from Vicsig. (Photographer: James Hansen)

Nice find, I wonder if it's still there? I also wonder if there is any other vintage equipment hiding out there which is not on GSV.

The National Railway Museum in Adelaide has a working Teardrop Bell and even a Wig Wag to protect their miniature railway! :

Found one in Boort, VIC. The image is from 2010, so I have no idea if it's still there.
