I've seen a similar set-up in Gadsden, AL.

It also has me curious on how they got there as well, considering how the crossing is made up of mostly Safetran equipment as well.

I figured it was a side-swipe there. Although one has to figure how stupid people are to skirt that close to the end of the road.

These crossings were out of service at the time when streetview came through, but recently got re-activated. The second crossing still has at least one pair of Lex-C lights on the signal, with the street-side pair being knocked off:
