Odd seeing something like this survive so long on the BNSF.
https://goo.gl/maps/foRn5JoAevp

As usual, it was replaced with the generic BNSF crossing setup.
https://goo.gl/maps/D6W4sgefM8C2

All gateless crossing.

This is just weird.

More signals that have survived longer than expected.

What the :Censored: is this?

The cantilever and gate are both on an elevated concrete surface.

I swear the BNSF has a death wish for EM gate motors.

Rusty Safetran.

It's been known about for a few years now. The crossing is even on the site as I went down there in 2015 to try and document it. Sadly, it was replaced sometime between 2013 and 2015.

That looks more like a RACO bell.

Active crossing in Orlando, Florida.
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5402894 ... 6656?hl=en
Weird FCRR setup.
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.54564,- ... 6656?hl=en
This crossing has a WCH mechanical bell!
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5458541 ... 6656?hl=en
I have no words...
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5527399 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5531606 ... 6656?hl=en
Believe it or not, the FCRR made a weird move by replacing GS bells with WCH bells, How are they mean't to open them? I wonder if the GS bells were donated for the SunRail project.
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5531474 ... 6656?hl=en
Whats this?

Active crossing, i'd like to record this crossing! (Depends when i can fix my tripod) Ask more if you feel like it.

Sunrail train at LYNX Central on a test day.
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5493629 ... 6656?hl=en
RACO/Safetran mechanical bell still sitting here.
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5509742 ... 6656?hl=en
For some reason, GSV lists this road as a dead end.
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5508726 ... .71z?hl=en
I also want to record this crossing, as long as the RACO hasn't died or been replaced.
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5567401 ... 6656?hl=en
GSV captured work going on at the end of the road in December 2016, but the crossing doesn't seem to be primarily affected considering the road still needs to be open for a uniform store.
Abandoned signal that only contained a gate for some random path or presumably a former road.
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5575905 ... 6656?hl=en
What gate mechanism is THIS?
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5608298 ... 6656?hl=en
Bush growing in front of a signal, hope this isn't causing any problems!
https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5615791 ... 6656?hl=en
Its gone now.

They can be opened like any other WCH mechanical bell, as the bell itself will just swing to the side rather than the door.

A US&S/WABCO Model 75 gate mech. The SCL and SBD appear to have been big users of them (at least for a little bit in the SBD's case).
