It's also noticeable that this crossing nearby had a US&S teardrop back in 2008.
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.2382996 ... 1664?hl=en
However, in 2014. The signals were replaced, which sent the teardrop to heaven.

I wonder if there were enough people stopping under that gates at this crossing for this sign to be put up?

Here's an interesting crossing:

With a somewhat odd signal as well:

WABCO bell!
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.0492963 ... 312!8i6656

Another crazy crossing:
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.0527017 ... 312!8i6656
A total of 5 signals there with three Modern Industries mechanical bells and one General Signals e-bell!

Another crossing in an intersection with three old SAL signals, all with the original lights and bells!
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.0530828 ... 312!8i6656

A 4-way SAL install at another intersection that's almost all original as well!
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.0544226 ... 312!8i6656

A double bell-only crossing!
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.0551988 ... 312!8i6656

Looks like this would be an interesting crossing to railfan at:

First sighting of a US&S Model 95 on an NS line outside of the Carolinas!

The crossing seen in action, back when it still has Transport Products Corp equipment:

Odd set-up:

I'm guessing CSX did this because the signals lack rear lights:

Another one!

These crossbucks were left behind when this crossing was upgraded:

Safetran S-85!

Some classic SAL signals!

NS crossing with GRS gate mechs!
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.6638556 ... 312!8i6656

Here's an interesting signal:
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.712909, ... 312!8i6656
Looks like it was a standard RACO cantilever that had the arm on it replaced for some reason.

Active crossing:
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.8617442 ... 312!8i6656
It was for this high-hood GP50 that was doing some switching near the crossing, shame that NS got rid of all of these:

Looks like it replaced a General Signals e-bell that was in pretty good shape. Have to wonder how many damaged NEG e-bells are in service, and if that one in particular even works anymore?

Advance warning signs being used in place of diamond warning signs that tell you that there is a crossing to your left/right.

Why didn't they just put side lights on the gated signal instead of having a third signal? Although I think a third signal is more interesting.

Interesting how that crossing has pedestrian signals, not something you would expect in rural Missouri.
