Hopefully that mechanical bell on the relay case is still there. The NS NA District only see two trains a day, so if I go railfanning along it, I'm gonna be chasing a train down or up the line.
That bell could be a WCH/WRRS motor bell, though i'm uncertain. Somethings poking out from the back, which has got me curious.

Looks like it's just the mount:

https://www.google.com/maps/@33.9725026 ... 328!8i1664
Might be a WRRS bell though.
They/Them for me, please.

That crossing has since been removed, but the signage for it is still there, surprisingly enough:

On the site!
If I had to guess, there used to be two of those older cantilevers there before ACIPCO had the crossing upgraded with the newer gated cantilevers, but the one old one was left behind for some reason. Surprisingly, the old cantilever still works, though the mechanical bell on it is dead. Good luck trying to record there without getting kicked-out by the plant's security though.

NS Camp Cars, used to house MOW gangs who are doing major work along a line.

Not really, just cars being stored on a partially abandoned connector track between the NS Rome Line and the CSX S&NA South Sub.

Another active crossing not too far away.

Believe I've posted those two before.

A couple of odd set-ups in Newport, TN, that were likely done due to space issues:
This first one only has one gate and an extra mast signal:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.9677232 ... 312!8i6656
The gate is rather long, and might be used to block the whole road, but I'm honestly not sure.
The extra mast signal wasn't there back in 2011:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.9677327 ... 312!8i6656

The second one is just a gateless 1990s NS install with two bells, but still has both signals on the same side of the road:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.9676443 ... 312!8i6656

And here's a pair of older SOU signals in Newport, TN with a Harmon crossbuck on the mast signal, which you don't see too often on NS lines outside of ex-Conrail territory:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.9580193 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.9576884 ... 312!8i6656

Some old SOU block signals in use!
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.9195487 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.9206309 ... 312!8i6656

Another interesting install in the area, also likely done for visibility purposes:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.0407926 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.0410516 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.040972, ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.0413027 ... 328!8i1664

Another interesting set-up, with some maintenance going on:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1694896 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1698522 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1695503 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1696134 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1695503 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1696944 ... 328!8i1664

An interesting signal:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1808648 ... 312!8i6656

A pure SOU Modern Industries install!
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1831534 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1829286 ... 312!8i6656

More old SOU block signals!
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1932952 ... 312!8i6656
The most permissive indication the one on the right can show is a yellow over yellow "advance approach" signal.

https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1896246 ... 312!8i6656

Extra crossbuck, likely left behind when the crossing got signals:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1563365 ... 328!8i1664

More old SOU signals:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1398817 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1401086 ... 328!8i1664

A bit of an odd set-up:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1272329 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1270805 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1271557 ... 312!8i6656
It's an in-kind replacement for the old SOU signals that were here (which featured GRS Lex-C lights):
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1272312 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1270711 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1271905 ... 328!8i1664

More old SOU block signals!
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.1246956 ... 312!8i6656

This signal just looks awkward:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.0650093 ... 312!8i6656

Also, not on street view yet, but there's a brand new crossing right nearby:
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.0655952 ... a=!3m1!1e3
They/Them for me, please.

Don't know why these signals are so far back from the crossing.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8690724 ... 312!8i6656
General Signals E-Bell which was unnecessarily replaced with a WCH Mechanical bell.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8674404 ... 328!8i1664
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8674429 ... 312!8i6656
What could be the remains of 2 signals.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8658556 ... 312!8i6656
Restored Norfolk and Western trestle.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8633595 ... 312!8i6656
Interesting sign for a spur crossing.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8610242 ... 312!8i6656
Crossing getting a new grade.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8611304 ... 312!8i6656
Defect Detector? Why is there a green light?
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8576475 ... 312!8i6656
Crossing activating for a train.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8574083 ... 312!8i6656
Looks to just be a GP38-2
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8576242 ... 312!8i6656
Partially closed crossing mainly because of steel supports being used to prevent this building from collapsing in the street.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8556099 ... 312!8i6656
Very short gate.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.844185, ... 312!8i6656
What could be an NS train.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8336627 ... 312!8i6656
Damaged crossbuck
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8271778 ... 312!8i6656
Whoops!
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.8131288 ... 312!8i6656
Strange setup
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.7854494 ... 312!8i6656
Active crossing.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.7732752 ... 312!8i6656
A signal rotated to the side for an unknown reason.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.7701091 ... 312!8i6656
I can't even just say what the heck NS were thinking of when they attached this crossbuck to a General Signals E-Bell.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.7639364 ... 312!8i6656
Active crossing.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.7280384 ... 312!8i6656
I never knew NS used wayside horns.
https://www.google.com/maps/@36.7271504 ... 312!8i6656
