I saw that, but would they really need that much space for three tracks? Well, it could've been a spur, but the third track's no longer there either way.

There was a connector spur here at one point in time.. it was gone by at least 1997, but the ROW still existed then and I traced it in Google earth

If they are going to make the effort to physically remove the old track, they should have also made the effort to move the signal up too where the other tracks are... don't you think?

Yup. One of Columbus, OH's Whelens. They're Whelen 4004s I believe too.
