That's interesting to see Google went through that crossing twice while activated, because the ones you posted was from a different time (lane shift + different clouds in the sky)

It looks to me like the train was backing up: http://goo.gl/maps/2HIKW

The car in front of the Google car (waiting for the train in my link) is the same in your third link crossing the tracks. Plus, it looks as though the engine is further away in each picture as you move forward through the crossing.
