I think they accidentally discovered the oldest crossing on the entire site! Those large cross bucks were used with full length gates that used to span the roadway.

It was usually a similar setup like this:

This is a pretty neat looking crossing right here, and wished that they kept it. But sadly, they had to upgrade it.

It's pretty rare to see an inverted Crossbuck that are still in use, even know this spur line is abandoned, and not in use.
