14 inch lights were used primarily for the No Right/Left Turn lights and typically didn't feature backgrounds as a result. The only exception was WCH, who used/uses a standard 12 inch light-head, and as such, most of their signals of this type feature backgrounds.

well of all the private railroad crossings on earth this one is probably the most private railroad crossing in the world!
