Probably one of the plains-states railroads that existed years ago. Years ago, many railroads used 45° crossbucks for crossbuck crossings, not just the L&N.

Probably one of the plains-states railroads that existed years ago. Years ago, many railroads used 45° crossbucks for crossbuck crossings, not just the L&N.
such as the southern pacific who built them in the same way as the l&N using normal cross bcuks here's one in patterson ,ca

yes they are they were just made using standard cross bucks!
the southern pacific liked to do this it seems!

Just because a crossbuck is not at a 90-degree angle does not automatically make it a 45-degree crossbuck...

i know but iv'e seen a couple of other forty-five degree crossbucks done this way!
