So there is no Green Light? Odd.ToledoRailfan wrote:I've already posted this here before but sense I just happened to come across it again by chance while browsing this line on streetview, I thought it would be worth a re-post.
This is a confusing setup in Painted Post, New York. There is these flashing red signal beacons for W Chemung St.(https://www.google.com/maps/@42.1587436 ... 6656?hl=en , https://www.google.com/maps/@42.1587593 ... 6656?hl=en) and there are these standard three color lights for Hamilton St. (https://www.google.com/maps/@42.158883, ... 6656?hl=en, https://www.google.com/maps/@42.1586666 ... 6656?hl=en).
When I first came across these about a year ago I just assumed that the three color signals were Y-Y-R signals and that when there was a train that the three color signals would go through a normal sequence from flashing yellow to a steady red and that the signal beacons would go to a steady red. But then I later found out that the middle lights on the three color signals were flashing instead of the bottom lights so because of that I really don't know how this works. https://www.google.com/maps/@42.1590846 ... 6656?hl=en
