It's an radio-controlled switch. The signal is the switch indicator which goes green if it's aligned straight, or red if it's aligned into the siding. Rests at yellow for all other times. There's a couple at the ends of the CSX Yard in Dothan, AL, though with much larger signals.
Only 31 states in the US require a second license plate on all cars registered within the state. Florida is not one of them.
Don't really see any errors there? Just a ped gate and a road gate on two seperate masts...

...I also wonder if that blankout sign was struck by a truck at one time?

Found this (almost) street-running section in Fort Collins, CO with one crossing having a square e-bell!

Nice find. Do you know what company makes that square e-bell?

No-one really knows. At least a few people've suspected ASC, while personally, I suspect Harmon.

Found this insanely classic crossing in Birmingham, AL, on the Birmingham Terminal Railroad while mapping out crossings in the Birmingham Metro Area tonight:

The signals appear to be some old US&S 8 inch signals with a full set of cats-eyed signage and a pair of (newer?) mechanical bells (which appear to be either Federal Signal or WCH).
Street view is from 2011, and I haven't been out here to confirm if any of this is still there, so I can't say if it survives unchanged or not. However, it appears that this crossing sees light usage (only when switching or moving between two parts of a yard, it seems), as the tracks end only about a block away. So hopefully, the signals are still there and unchanged when I get down to Birmingham next.

The signals appear to be still there as of January 2019, but due to limited street view coverage, this is as far as i can well... really get
