Looks like it was a Westinghouse teardrop as well

Can't be too many crossings around with a teardrop bell mounted on the cantilever, Corrigan Rd at Noble Park is the only other one that comes to mind.

I posted that and the other crossings on the line in the "Tracks out of service" more than a year ago (still sad that NaziRoads removed them for "safety reasons"). I drove over the Berwick-Cranbourne Road crossing shortly before they removed the signals back in January 2012 when we visited a nearby pool. When I saw the works around the crossing, I knew what was happening.
Funny you mention Corrigan Road, as I believe that crossing had old advanced warning signs at the time (I'll post them later). Also, didn't a crossing in Queensland have old cantilevers with two Westinghouse Teardrops before it was upgraded?

Found this almost completely faded Hazard Triangle for the Ash Street crossing in Orange, NSW.

Dumb question, is that the South Gippsland line? I think i documented that crossing on the Tracks out of service thread a few months ago.

Yeah it was. Most of the crossings were lasted used in 1998 for the Lang Lang sand train, the last passenger train ran to Leongatha in 1993.
On the subject of the line, a few of the other crossings also had old advanced warning signs with Hazard Triangles, but like the crossing signals, they've since been removed.
Rossiter Road, Koo Wee Rup (as I've mentioned before, I drove by this sign and the crossing numerous times in the past).

McDonalds Track, Lang Lang.

Here's a few I've found on the section between Nyora and Leongatha...
Warragul Road, Korumburra.

https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-38.426 ... 312!8i6656
Turner Street, Leongatha (This one's for an old passive crossing sign, although the crossing has active protection).

I seriously need to get out there and document the surviving crossings on the line, before NaziRoads remove more of them because of "safety reasons". As was the case with Roughead Street, Leongatha last year.

Speaking of faded hazard triangles, this crossing at Tamworth which was previously posted now has both crossbucks and posts completely removed

However this advance warning sign remains with it's faded hazard triangle

Drove past this one at Bombo today and it's still there, although strangely it has since been turned upside down

This road was the original Princes Highway until it was bypassed around 2005, and the sign is probably leftover from the original crossing of the quarry siding before the overpass was built. You can see remains of the original road here, leading towards the former location of the crossing which had a teardrop bell.
