I'll always like the A-frame gates over the newer 'flat' ones. They just look more nicer (especially the black and white ones, of which there are a few still scattered across Australia.)

Here are all the one's GSV has managed to capture.

Millers Road, Altona (Still there according to chris96)

Pier Street, Altona (Chris96 has said that they've been replaced with red and white gates)
https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.867 ... 6656?hl=en

Glen Eira Road, Ripponlea (Replaced or repainted sometime between 2007-2009)
https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.876 ... 1664?hl=en

Dublin Road, Ringwood East (Even has the older style chevron shaped white reflective strips! Sadly, the gate was replaced sometime between Jan 2008 & Nov 2009)
https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.812 ... 1664?hl=en

Arthurton Road, Northcote (Replaced by Nov 2009)
https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.768 ... 1664?hl=en

Beavers Road, Northcote (Still there?)
https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.766 ... 6656?hl=en

Normanby Avenue, Thornbury (Sadly replaced between Feb 2014-Apr 2015)

Wow, I never realized that the Czech Republic and the Netherlands used American gate mechanisms. :TUP1:

Actually, not quite. Both countries appear to use designs based off of American ones, but they aren't made by American companies. However, it appears that the Netherlands did use GRS equipment based on the signals shown in this video at 0:53:

Other examples include how the current lights are extremely similar in design to the GRS XC lights, and the signals which use them use "XC" in the model number

Then you have these gate mechanisms that appear to be GRS Type-Bs, or at least ones that are based off of GRS Type-Bs (this is also the only crossing in the country with these still in use!):

In fact, the lights here appear to have GRS brandings on them!
https://www.google.com/maps/@52.6588167 ... 312!8i6656

And then you have the bells that resemble WRRS mini-bells in both shape and sound:

https://www.google.com/maps/@52.6537615 ... 312!8i6656

They also have lower-toned mechanical bells that have a similar shape to these bells, but with a different gong:

They/Them for me, please.

Re-quoted because Daniel Andrews has obviously been removing crossings over in the USA.

There's also Diamond St in Eltham. It was still there earlier this year:

I can also confirm that the Millers Road, Altona ones are still there (visited them today)!

That's good to hear! :TUP1: There used to also be one at Prospect Hill Road in Camberwell until 2009 as well!

And not to mention, Grange Road in Alphington... (It even had a teardrop bell!)
https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.778 ... 1664?hl=en

Looks like this one at the New & Dendy Street roundabout was black and white at one point as well!

It's amazing how these black and white wooden wishbone gates have managed to last this long.

It also had a Safetran bell on the other side:

I've noticed that there used to be a lot of crossings which have a McK&H teardrop & Safetran Mechinal bell combo. Sadly, there's none left.

I also noticed that in 2013, the top of the gate at Pier St Altona was red and white, while the rest was still the original black and white:
