Because the box is made by Siemens and the signals are not Siemens!

I found another pair, this time at an intersection with normal GYR signals. I wonder if the main signals also change when the blackout signals are active? Although they are in flash mode.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but these signals appear to show the image of a fire truck when active. Neat find! I would be interested to see these operating myself...

Happens all the time over here. Huntsville used Safetran controllers for the traffic lights here for a while, despite not using any Safetran traffic lights.

Yep! That is how I found out that they were for fire trucks.
