Pretty much all non-cantilever crossings in the Orlando area owned by SunRail (formerly CSX) have that setup; separate masts for the gate/bell and the lights/crossbuck.

Active crossing on the Alabama & Tennessee River Railway in Atalla, AL. It seems like every time streetview goes through this crossing, it has been active!

I've driven by those crossings on Hanna before, and they're scarcely used. In fact, I dunno why that one right there would be active, considering the overgrow.

That wouldn't surprise me if they cut a wire. Isn't there some kind of fail-safe that if a bond breaks the signals go off?

I would drive over there to see what that crossing looks like now, but that's not a really safe area of town at all
