WABCO/US&S are kinda sorta almost identical with their equipment. The light heads between the two companies are alike, and I believe the gate mechs are as well.

However, there is a difference with their mechanical bells.

US&S was still around up until the Electronic Bell era as they have their own E-Bell model which is kinda a unique design, at least the housing. I don't know if they're still around or not.

US&S was still around up until the Electronic Bell era as they have their own E-Bell model which is kinda a unique design, at least the housing. I don't know if they're still around or not.

IIRC, they are. After US&S and WABCO separated, WABCO split in two becoming Wabtec (merger of part of WABCO and MotivePower Industries) and WABCO Holdings (which was owned by American Standard for 30 years up until 2007).
