That, or the red section needed a new coat of paint so they used red paint instead of black paint.TrickyMario7654 wrote:Maybe a bit of the original gate broke off and they had to replace it with a bit off a newer red and white gate.chris96 wrote:I also noticed that in 2013, the top of the gate at Pier St Altona was red and white, while the rest was still the original black and white:

Found a black and white wishbone gate at Evanston Gardens in South Australia. Sadly, the gate was gone the next time GSV went through the crossing.

The image is from 2011... and unfortunately, based on the satellite view, I'm thinking it may be gone. I think the shadow would look a bit different.

Re: A-frame/Wishbone gate locations
Yea, it's most likely gone based on the shadow. Looking at the one on street view, it'd be obvious by the fact that there'd be two shadows that joined together.cabman701 wrote:Greater Township, Michigan: https://www.google.com/maps/@43.1103489 ... 312!8i6656

Re: A-frame/Wishbone gate locations
I can confirm that a third crossing in Melbourne still has a wooden B&W gate! It's at Oakover Road in Preston. Here's a video of it from this month!
