What intrigues me though about this setup is why the gate remained but no lights there. I would have thought that even into business lots, lights would have still been pointing into it. :Confused:

They probably removed the lights when the supposed business closed.

I know that CSX now mounts their bells on the sides of the signal masts, but this is just pure lazy. Couldn't even be bothered to remove the old bell. :TDOWN:

For this one, I think one can only speculate. Could be a multitude of reasons such as vandalism, mother nature, out of service, etc.

I would agree, since the lights are aimed towards the sidewalk and not the "driving side" of the road.
