Did you notice the bells on those crossings?
I thought it was unusual to see those Associated Signal Bell, I thought for a moment that I've never really seen to many crossings with them, but it did not come to my mind that they were rare.
They're actually Safetran Type 1s. ASC bells look like this: http://www.rxrsignals.net/102/Electronic/ASC/
They are both about as rare though, but I'm willing to bet that the ASC bells are rarer.

That's actually not a freeway. There are several at-grade intersections north and south of the interchange & railroad crossing along US 27.

Those would both be good contributions to the Bell Only Crossings thread.

Whoops, my bad, I guess it is one of those highways that at first glance, looks like a freeway. The non-freeway part of Ohio State Route 2 at times looks like a freeway. The way Google Maps made US-127 kind of made it look like a freeway. Still kind of a unique crossing.

Not quite on the same post, actually, but close.
The post the advanced warning sign is on is a metal post right in front of the crossbuck. This same post has that small "No Parking" sign on it.

Kind of a redneck setup. Looks as if there is a small cable or wire holding the two together. https://www.google.com/maps/@43.243056, ... !2e0?hl=en

I'm certain that the two posts are separate because of who owns them in the first place. The crossbuck post is put up by the railroad whereas the advanced warning post is put up by the municipality. I can't tell for certain which one was there first, but the advanced warning sign being there makes the crossbuck "illegal" since it prevents the white reflective strip from being visible on the crossbuck post. :Tongue2:

Wow, and in street view from 2007! Not many of those images left on Google Maps.

How about two AOK (Arkansas and Oklahoma) Railroad locomotives, ex-BNSF B40-8Ws, sitting in Red Oak, Oklahoma:
