This has nothing to do with the crossing but look at this old traffic signal right next to the crossing! https://www.google.com/maps/@41.502627, ... 2YJAaQ!2e0

Considering that most of the signals along the former line had lights, that's my thought as well.

Looking at older street view images, the Safetran Type-2 there appears to have replaced a GS E-bell. Reminds me of a couple of crossings in Athens.

What the heck...when I viewed the street view image from that angle, it only gave me the option for 2012 :Blink:
