Talk about other non-signal stuff here. Make sure to obey the rules though.

It's been corrected since then.

Happens all the time with signal ahead signs. Here's one that I've seen in person in Lawrenceburg, TN:

Photos I got of it:

Also in the realm of bad signage, here's a particularly bad set-up in Hartselle, AL, with a terribly done Do Not Enter sign and a two-way traffic sign that appears to have been imported from Australia (also conveniently located on the left side of the road... Are y'all slowly annexing Hartselle or something? :LOL3: ):

And of course, my pictures of it:

And to finish off this post with some good stuff, here's a state-named button-copy stand-along I-85 shield in Atlanta, GA:

Close-up photo I got of it last year:

And some more button-copy interstate shields in Birmingham, AL along I-65 and one of its ramps:

https://www.google.com/maps/@33.504236, ... 312!8i6656

And the original button copy signage or US 31, US 80, and AL 21 in Montgomery, AL, complete with button-copy shields!

Also, Exit 0 (Yes! 0!) on I-65 in Mobile, AL at it's southern terminus with I-10. Note how the control "cities" are the states of Florida and Mississippi:

"Right Lane Must Turn Right" sign on crossing signal cantilever.
https://goo.gl/maps/ZqTLTvKmZNv

Another "Right Lane" sign along with a "Do Not Stop on Tracks" sign on the traffic light's mast. Pretty odd.

Older traffic light cantilevers.

This one looks "older."

Added bonus. Former railroad crossing on this road. Line was the former Milwaukee Road mainline in these parts. Burlington Northern took over when MILW went "kaput" in 1980 and turned it into an industrial spur. The line was abandoned in 2001 due to several washouts. The signals were removed in July of 2010. I actually own the WCH Mechanical Bell from this crossing.

This cantilever has been reused.

Good gracious, the huge backgrounds on these Eagle traffic lights looks hideous!

They've since been replaced with... newer incandescent traffic signals?!

Siemens Wigwags which i believe no longer work due to a upgrade with junctions with the nearby retail park. :Awww:

These signals don't have long to go, there were new Siemens signals already installed when i passed on Tuesday.

Despite an upgrade two years ago, these signals were updated again when i passed on Tuesday.

Other than level crossings, movable bridges, and ambulance and fire stations, where else can Wigwag signals like that in the UK and Ireland be found?
