The only part that is griswold on the near signal is the banner.

This is very odd and weird. Why would they put a grade there? https://www.google.com/maps/@47.457409, ... 312!8i6656

There is a High-Rail coming! https://www.google.com/maps/@47.516735, ... 312!8i6656
--------------------------------------------
This crossing is interesting.... https://www.google.com/maps/@47.525059, ... 312!8i6656
--------------------------------------------
This Light-less gated signal is for the sidewalk. Pretty odd, it also has a Safetran Type 1 bell! https://www.google.com/maps/@47.531427, ... 312!8i6656
--------------------------------------------
Bell-less gated crossing. https://www.google.com/maps/@47.774983, ... 312!8i6656
--------------------------------------------
This is kind of odd, its not railroad crossing related, this is a mix of U.S state flags, international flags, and U.S military flags. Kind of an odd mix. https://www.google.com/maps/@47.853656, ... 312!8i6656

Notice how the South Korean flag is upside down! https://www.google.com/maps/@47.853792, ... 312!8i6656
--------------------------------------------
This is really odd! https://www.google.com/maps/@48.152071, ... 328!8i1664
--------------------------------------------
Another bell-less crossing. Notice how both signals have built in pedestrian gates, this is very rare for a small rural town. https://www.google.com/maps/@48.904843, ... 312!8i6656 https://www.google.com/maps/@48.904751, ... 312!8i6656

The lights on the closer signal aren't Griswold I don't think... kind of spaced odd too. The other one definitely is completely Griswold though.
Still Griswold!
I'm not so sure about that. I think that signal without the Griswold lights is actually a RACO signal. The base is the same of that to an EM signal as well, but without the gates.
The far signal is griswold.
I know that, but I wasn't taking about that one
Its still a odd setup for the near signal em signal with no gate and a rotating banner.

My guess is they planned to put a sidewalk through there at one point... look at the extra pavement coming off the road to the right. Probably a project that was never fully completed.

It does have 2 gate lights on it (instead of 3)... wonder how those work? Does the end one stay on like a normal 3 light gate?

That is the first time I've seen Side lights with a don't turn on left/right signal head mounted together. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.634308, ... 6656?hl=en
----------------
This is a horrible setup. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.637085, ... 6656?hl=en
----------------
This is kind of unique this cantilever signal (https://www.google.com/maps/@40.638064, ... 6656?hl=en) for a business, but there is space between the cantilever signal and the crossing so the signal on the other side of the crossing has side lights for the space between the crossing and the cantilever signal. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.637907, ... 6656?hl=en
----------------
Here is a cool gate-less and bell-less 8'' crossing. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.529279, ... 6656?hl=en https://www.google.com/maps/@40.529332, ... 6656?hl=en

And no one's gone out there to photograph it yet? For shame. :glare:
Still one of the best mistakes made on a crossbuck. The guys at the sign shop had to have been drunk or something when they made that! :LOL3:

Hey, it's not my fault that I'm too cheap for gas/don't have time to go up there! :LOL2:

At the same time though, lack of time in real life is why I've probably not found more places to go get signal pictures for almost two years now.

I have a photo from the 1980s that Mom took when we were on our way to somewhere. It said "RAIL RAIL CROSSING"
