Check out this gateless 7-lane crossing on a highway that doesn't have a single bell at it! :Eeeeek:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.914899, ... 312!8i6656

Also, NS seems to have a thing for tall mast signals:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.910847, ... 312!8i6656
They/Them for me, please.

Makes you wonder why they added the mast extensions with the hybrid bells and gate keepers on these... when the gates don't go up all the way.
Notice the extensions went byebye when they were switched to e-bells.
Well, :Censored:

Those are some amazing Griswolds right there! Nice find!
However, looking around the area in you link brought my attention to the fact that this crossing could be a quiet zone, which is a bit disconcerting.
Though this abandoned crossing could've been the quiet zone, as there is an exempt sign posted with the advance warning signs:

Also: :LOL2:

And here's an active crossing signal:
https://www.google.com/maps/@44.9721709 ... 312!8i6656
They/Them for me, please.

That area changed quite a bit in the last 6 years. Check out the old look... can't figure out why these stop signs are in a box? https://www.google.com/maps/@44.972986, ... 312!8i6656

Those are back-lit stop signs, I believe.
They/Them for me, please.
