Makes you wonder why they added the mast extensions with the hybrid bells and gate keepers on these... when the gates don't go up all the way.
Notice the extensions went byebye when they were switched to e-bells.

Those are some amazing Griswolds right there! Nice find!
However, looking around the area in you link brought my attention to the fact that this crossing could be a quiet zone, which is a bit disconcerting.
Though this abandoned crossing could've been the quiet zone, as there is an exempt sign posted with the advance warning signs:

Those are back-lit stop signs, I believe.
